The society is obligated to defend the human rights and freedoms declared in the legislation of Georgia and upheld by international human rights organizations. The Society aims to expose the violation of universally recognized basic human rights and freedoms in Georgia. To prevent such violations, the Society will take this information to the responsible bodies of the Georgian government and relevant international organizations. The Society's priorities in its work are: a. Defense of the Human Right to life and against the use of the death penalty; b.Struggle against torture, other cruel and inhumane treatment, and abasement; c. Struggle against racial, religious, national, and ideological discrimination and for the freedom of speech; d.
